Memorial website in the memory of your loved one

This site was created for Duane Daigle. A loving son to Gerald and Doreen, a loving brother to Wayne and Tammy. Duane will be dearly missed by all those fortunate to have had him in their lives! His sense of humor will be remembered forever! Our son passed away in a car accident at the young age of 26 in Montreal Quebec Canada. He will remain forever young in the heavens above!

Duane was born May on May 06, 1979 on passed away on May 21, 2005. You will always be in our hearts and prayers, and your memories will never die XOXO. You will live as a loving father through your son Jesse always and forever Duane until we meet again!

Duane's passion was his son! He loved sports..and loved life itself.....He loved his family and friends and had a great sense of humor ... Our son was very outgoing, loved to go fishing and watch the Montreal Canadian hockey team.

My Mom is a survivor
My Mom is a survivor, or so I've heard it said.
But I hear her crying at night when all others are in bed. I watch her lay awake at night and
go to hold her hand. She doesn't know I'm with her to
help her understand. But like the sands on the beach that
never wash away... I watch over my surviving mom,
who thinks of me each day. She wears a smile for others... a smile of disguise. But through Heaven's door I see tears
flowing from her eyes. My mom tries to cope with death to keep my memory alive. But anyone who knows her knows it is her way to survive. As I watch over my surviving mom through Heaven's open door. I try to tell her that angels protect
me forever more. But I know that doesn't help her or
ease the burden she bears. So if you get a chance, go visit her.. .And show her that you care. For no matter what she says... no matter what she feels. My surviving mom has a broken heart that time won't ever heal!

The Cord
We are connected, my mother and I,
by an invisible cord not seen by the eye.
It’s not like the cord that connects us at birth,
this cord can’t be seen by any on earth.
This cord does its work right from the start,
it binds us together, attached by the heart.
I know that it’s there, though no one can see
this invisible cord, from my mother to me.
The strength of this cord,
it’s hard to describe,
it can’t be destroyed, it can’t be denied.
It’s stronger than any cord man could create;
it withstands the test, can hold any weight.
And though you are gone and you’re not
here with me,
the cord is still there though no one can see.
It pulls at my heart, I am bruised, I am sore,
but this cord is my lifeline as never before.
I’m thankful that God connects us this way,a Mother and Child.... Even death can't take it away!

Mom, Please Listen
Mom, please listen to me
as I take the time to write.
I see parents struggling daily,
Their pain is such a fight...
All of us who've gone
And left the rest of you behind...
We're ok, Mom, I promise ...
Heaven is beautiful and God is kind.
You used to tell me that one day
God would call and take you home.
You told me you'd make me strong
So I would stand tall when alone.
But things happen, Mom
That does not go in our plans,
I wasn't scared, Mom,
When God held out his hand.
I didn't want to leave you,
I didn't have time to say good-bye
When the angels said, "Come with us"
There wasn't time to ask why.
I've watched you daily, Mom.
It hurts me to see you cry.
I don't want you to be unhappy,
Just because we didn't say good-bye.
Tell others what I'm telling you,
So many parents need to know
That Earth was just a lay over
We had another place to go.
I know you miss me, Mom
I know your heart was broken in two.
But God really needed me
Because my earthly life was through.
I''m always alongside you...
I smile and touch your hair.
I whisper "Mom, I love you"
You just can't see me there.
I'm the one that gently touches you
On your shoulder when you're sad.
I'm happy now that you finally found
God again, and are no longer mad.
Tell the parents, Mom, for me
That all of us kids are okay.
God had plans for our lives
When he called us home that day.
I love you, Mom, I always will
And remember I'm not far away.
We're going to be together
When God calls out your name.

When Tomorrow Starts Without Me
When tomorrow starts without me,
and I'm not there to see;
If the sun should rise and find your eyes,
all filled with tears for me;
I wish so much you wouldn't cry,
the way you did today,
while thinking of the many things,
we didn't get to say.
I know how much you love me,
as much as I love you,
and each time that you think of me,
I know you'll miss me too;
But when tomorrow starts without me,
please try to understand,
that an angel came and called my name,
and took me by the hand,
and said my place was ready,
in heaven far above,
and that I'd have to leave behind,
all those I dearly love.
But as I turned to walk away,
a tear fell from my eye,
for all life, I'd always thought,
I didn't want to die.
I had so much to live for,
so much yet to do,
it seemed almost impossible,
that I was leaving you.
I thought of all the yesterdays,
the good ones and the bad,
I thought of all the love we shared,
and all the fun we had.
If I could relive yesterday,
just even for awhile,
I'd say goodbye and kiss you
and maybe see you smile.
But then I fully realized,
that this could never be,
for emptiness and memories,
would take the place of me.
And when I thought of worldly things,
I might miss come tomorrow,
I thought of you, and when I did,
my heart was filled with sorrow.
But when I walked through heaven's gates,
I felt so much at home.
When God looked down and smiled at me,
from His great golden throne,
He said, "This is eternity,
and all I've promised you".
Today for life on earth is past,
but here it starts anew.
I promise no tomorrow,
but today will always last,
and since each day's the same day,
there's no longing for the past.
But you have been so faithful,
so trusting and so true.
Though there were times you did some things, you knew you shouldn't do.
But you have been forgiven
and now at last you're free.
So won't you take my hand
and share my life with me?
So when tomorrow starts without me,
don't think we're far apart,
for every time you think of me,
I'm right here, in your heart.
